As an independent musician, I'm always in need of visuals to go along with my music.
And although we'd all ideally have a huge budget to hire the best video editors and graphics designers, that's simply not always our reality. So I'm always on the look out for tools and services that make life as an independent artist easier and without breaking the bank.
Finding a tool that helps you make lyric videos that was easy to use and affordable was proving to be difficult. A lot of them are either pricey, tedious or both. But I eventually found the tool I'm about to talk about and I'm so excited to share it with you because I think it'll really make life easier for independent musicians.
It's called Specterr, and it's an online tool meaning you don't need to download any software to use it.
You simply choose a visual template, import your song and lyrics, and you're virtually done. You can customize some of the layout and the font of your project. Specterr also made it really easy to edit your lyrics to pop up at the perfect timing with the song with just a few button clicks.
There is a free option that gives you two videos and has the Specterr watermark, as well as monthly or yearly price plans for multiple videos without a watermark, and they even offer prices per video if you don't want to commit to a subscription which I think is a really great option.
